That’s why we’re honored to link arms with Amigos for Christ\, a nonprofit serving rural communities in Nicaragua. For more than 20 years\, Amigos has been sparking transformational growth in people\, families\, and communities through leadership\, clean water\, health\, education\, and economic development. Their heartbeat is simple: work shoulder-to-shoulder with our Nicaraguan neighbors to remove obstacles\, create opportunities\, and see lives changed for generations. \nWhen you join us in Nicaragua\, every day will look a little different—but every moment will matter. You might dig a water line that brings clean water to a village\, help students at the Amigos Academy practice English\, or plant dragon fruit on a local farm. No matter the task\, our mission is the same: to serve so that Christ is made more visible. SUMMARY:Student Spring Break Serve Project
DESCRIPTION:Students — don’t waste your spring break. Use it to make a difference. \nMarch 16–18th\, Monday through Wednesday\, our students will be partnering with Matthews Hope to serve 14 transitional homes for individuals and families working their way toward independence and self-sustainability. We’ll be doing landscaping and various projects to help create safe\, dignified spaces for them to thrive. \nThen on Thursday\, March 19th\, we’ll celebrate with a beach day together. \nEach day runs from 9am–3pm.Cost is $20\, which covers meals for the week.And students can earn up to 18 service hours. \nThis is a powerful opportunity to grow\, serve\, and lead.
